    Bridge Hammock Choices

Other than the WBRR are there any other manufacturers of that style hammock. I am in a dreamhammock now but want to try a bridge.

I can tell you that I love my Warbonnet Ridgerunner. It's like sleeping on a cloud and it's so light.

You can't go wrong with the WBRR. I just got mine after doing a lot of research and looking at the JRB bridge hammock. You won't regret it.

I have both a Bear Mountain, Jacks r Better and a Warbonnet (netless) Ridgerunner. I like them both, they are different, I am able to see more from the Ridgerunner, the Bear Mountain surrounds a bit more, I like it better in the winter. plus I find it to be a better lounger.

As always it is best to try before you buy. Your personal taste is what makes the hammock comfortable. Height, weight, sense of balance, need to feel secure is very individualized.

At last count, I can find 7:
    Lawson Blue Ridge
    Warbonnet Ridgerunner
    Jack R Better Bear Mountain
    Maverick Gear
    Eureka Chrysalis
    Outdoor Route Brio
    Bridges 4 Bigger People

I'm still trying to decide on which one to get. I might dip my toe with the Lawson because I can pick one up for $135 at Cabela's right now and return it if I don't like it. Then maybe Warbonnet or Marverick (yes 7lbs is heavy but it is basically a bed!).

V_Allen Bridges for bigger people. I'm not a bigger people, but I like to spread out and am considering this vs. the Ridgerunner. Builder is forum member

Might want to send V_Allen an email or PM first. I've read some posts from others that he might be MIA. I got one from him last year and love it. It's my go to when car camping or short backpacking trips.

Also realize, JacksRbetter's Bear Mountain Bridge come in 2 models, the Deluxe and Ultra light. Check the specs for the differences.

For car or base campers REI also has one and it's under $60 right now.
