    SOLD: Gnome (alcohol) Stove

I will be responding to PMs only.

This is a stove that Gnome sent to me. It does work, but I'm not crazy about the design and I have to many stoves.

Who ever is willing to pay shipping can have it.

I have no idea how to figure out what shipping will be ahead of time (Can someone tell me how?)

The shipping box (it's just a box that checks come in) with the stove in it weighs 2oz.
    Dimensions as follows:
    H 2"
    L 7"
    W 4"

That is about the size of a USPS flat rate $4.95 box. 9x5x2.

FYI... its $4.80 if you buy the postage online.

this particular gnome stove aint very good. It will over heat in a heart beat. My advice is to put it in the stove museum as an experiment, I have made exp. # 85 now I believe and it works much better. sure was fun making those little puppies though! gnome

you can ship something this size in an insulated envelope . I think the average postage was under $1.60.
when it overheats (using to close a wind shield, or to tight,) it will vaporise the alk. and start to burn hot. not good!@#$%^^ lot of fun to make tho. my newer ones with the complete 5 + inch bottle are real nice and actually weigh not much more./gnome

Mine overheated, not sure why, but the swelling gas blew a hole in the JB weld and started pumping out pressurized fuel. Still had a few minutes of fuel to burn off and had to cover the stove with a pan to extenguish. It became a fire breathing dragon, with unpredictable fire spitting from its nostrils.

Still a super light stove, fun to play with. worth the cost of shipping.
    Ambulo tua ambulo.
