As I already own a TATO conduit stand, will you be offering the collapsible poles as a future add-on to my current setup or will you only offer it as a full setup?
The only part that is interchangeable is the very top block on the two tripods. Everything else is different. We engineered the entire stand to be exactly the right weight capacities and the poles we are using are custom made for our project. I don't think there would be enough of a discount to offer a retrofit kit.
Budget is too tight to get a camp stand now, but it is a cool product that I want to see launched and I have been so impressed with how Bryan stands behind his products with amazingly awesome customer service, so I was really excited to see I could at least give numbers/activity boost to the KS for just a dollar!
I went back in, thinking I could do another dollar in my daughter's name and another in my dog's name and another in my hammock forum name... But, each time I go in now, it recognizes that I'm already a backer so I'm not sure there's a way I can give another numbers/activity boost still using the same credit card and same e-mail...?
Update: Duh! All I had to do was LOG OUT!!! Oh, and dig up three more e-mail addresses to use. In nine years of being employed at my present worksite, this is the first time I've ever given out my work e-mail for anything non-work related. Hijacking my work e-mail, too, allowed me to scrape up four different addresses to come from!

I'm setting up my EMT stand for my permanent indoor sleeper. I'll wait until July for my outdoor setup.

This Kickstarter needs to get punched up a level.
Send a press release out to some Outdoor Orgs that have an online presence or Festival organizers. Gotta get the word out.
If Rapid hammock raised $57K for a basic hammock, Go raised $30K for a netted hammock and Litho raised $40K for a hammock with tree straps, surely a few more folks would be interested in a stand.

Thanks. We will release some press releases. We have found a couple of places to do so. Does anyone know where we can submit press releases?
We will still move forward with this project even if it's not funded. It will just be delayed a little more than we'd like. It's a major investment to purchase this much material. We are certain that we will hit our goal though. We are working on some sales now that will take us to where we need to be.
