With a 13ft. ridge pole I have to clip the strap at the attachment point to the dog bones to have enough height above ground with 6 ft. legs. The issue is the carabiners are way to small for the straps and it's a major pain to get them in and out. I think I need to attach a small loop of Amsteel to the triangles to make it fit just right.
looks like they're now requesting addresses for delivery, can't wait to get it.
Yep Yep !!
AND they posted an update to the Kickstarter Page. Looks like there was a little delay in the supply line but they are still looking to hit their shipping target of July, albeit the end of July.

It's been a while since we have posted an update so thought we'd let everyone in on where we are in the process.
Parts are flowing off of the machines as planned. We are on schedule with producing all of the hardware. The poles however are a little late getting to us from the mill. We were supposed to have them before the end of may and it looks like we won't have them until after June 17th. This still keeps us in schedule with shipping in July but pushes us to the end of July to get them out.
I know everyone is excited about getting theirs and we are excited about getting them to you. We are working very hard to make sure this will be another on time project.
Thanks

I have a question regarding the ordering. Since I'm in MT, when I usually order online, from anywhere, I don't get charged the local sales tax. In ordering the hammock stand, I do. Is it supposed to be that way? Thanks in advance.
There were pics posted on FB that show a trailer load of material was picked up and hauled to the shop.
Love seeing the progress pics, turns the whole thing into an event instead of just a purchase.

Nailed it, Ratdog!
We're deep in the throes of production and on course for late July as promised!
As far as taxation goes, we'll look into it. I'd imagine that our commerce voodoo software thingy (which is a technical term) calculates all that stuff and keeps up with local laws and regulations, but I'm not sure enough off the top of my head to declare it 100% so. I do know that a lot of big outlets (Amazon comes to mind) work deals with local and state governments to avoid having to charge sales tax in exchange for other considerations (job creation, etc). We're just not as big as Amazon.
We stay pretty active on Facebook, so stop by and check us out there for all the best up-to-date cool stuff that we're doing - not only with the stands, but all your favorite TATO Gear products.
I think I saw my stand in those pictures......

Mine was on the bottom row of tubing on that trailer. I am sure of it..
Both of mine were in the 2nd row.
