I was able to set up two hammocks on mine with a spreader bar and double hammock whoopie hooks.

Backer Number 8 here. My stand arrived 5 OCT 2016 sometime after 1800 EST while I was at Scouts. When I made it home at sometime after 2100 I was able to unbox and setup the dang thing in my living room. Well it actually stretched out into the front hall it was so long. Un-boxing and removing the poles from the carry case was a long awaited joyful experience. I will note my main pole too was damaged in shipping. It has a nice scratch that went down to the bare metal. I figure shiny black nail polish will work as a touch up method. Man this thing is HUGE and super cool looking. I couldn't wait to try it out so on went my hammock. Well I'll need to make some new whoopie slings cause my are just a little to long for my hammock to hang at a comfortable height off the ground. I ended up having to roll out on my hands and knees, the wife got a laugh out of that. Big 6'4" 370 lb man who towers above the ground having to roll out of a hammock cause his hind end is to close to the ground. Oh Well everyone could use a few more projects eh?

I just need to say that this thing was well worth the added wait time, I'm super impressed with the quality.
