    My first Apex under quilt

Last night (and well into today) I made my first under quilt for my hammock. It is about 47" by 72" and made with 2.5 oz. Climashield Apex, Argon 90 Purple fabric on the outside, Argon 90 Titatnium Grey on the inside. Had enough apex to make it almost two complete layers, so should take me down to close to 30 degrees. Weighs in at 1 lb. 3 ounces. I like it and can't wait to try it out.

Great work, HippieChick, and nice result on the weight! The colors look fantastic. I hope the weather is cooler in Canandaigua than it is in NC so that you can give it a proper test run.

Nice work. What's the size of it stuffed into a sack?

I haven't made a stuff sack for it yet. Was thinking I would do the "stuff it the backpack as is" method. I think it will compress pretty good.

Looks great! That is a great result on the low weight as well--especially if it does get you down to 30 degrees. Let us know how it works for you.

    That's a purdy under quilt.
I like rocks. They're very good at being what they are, and pretty darn handy in a dust up.

looks good. I made me a UQ a little while ago out of a SL of 5.0 CL apex and its easily good down to the upper 30's (coldest ive had it was 38 and it was plenty warm for me at least)
