Tulle is a pain in the rear! DIY hot pink bug net

So, my daughter wanted a hot pink bug net to match her hammock.

    IMG_2170.JPG

I made it "fronkey" style, but with one end wider so i can cinch it down or pull the bug net back when not in use. I still need to get some shock cord and cord locks installed, but all in all, I am pleased with it. I plan on treating it with permethrin too.

She won't have trouble finding her rig in the dark. Good job!

I just told my wife I'd make her a completely hot pink set if she'd hang with the boys. Thanks for giving me a visual for her

If I was you I would test it out to make sure it would hold her. Also let us know when you plan on doing that so we can get some pics to go up on this site.

Hah! That's awesome: I know I would be delighted to have a matching one and hang out next to my youngest. :7)

Where did you get that material, anyway?
