Hh hex vs kelty Noah 12

Hey guys, I am probably going to be buying a new dutch hammock and so far, I am debating between the kelty Noah 12 tarp and the henesy hex. What are your opinions on which is a better tarp? Size and weight do not matter.

I would personally get the get the kelty 12 because it has more tie outs and you can change it around to any configuration you desire. the hh hex only has 4 tie outs so your pretty much stuck with the same setup. the kelty also comes with a stuff sack stakes and guy lines and the hh hex doesn't come with stakes.

    Hope this helped you out.

I have a kelty noahs 12 and love the coverage and versatility. I've pitched it as a diamond to cover two hammocks and as a winter tarp with doors. It comes with everything you need and you can usually find it on sale. Great versatile and dependable tarp that offers great coverage for 1 or 2 hammocks. Oh yeah, I plan on bringing it with me this summer to cover 4 hammocks! when I hike solo though and the weathers nice I'm gonna bring my Asym silnylon tarp.

Versatility, get the noah 12. So many configurations you can do with it. If you want to spend a little more money get the superfly its an amazing tarp for $140 and half the weight of the Kelty and 8oz lighter than the HH Hex and you get doors

I have both but would agree with the others about coverage . I think both are decent tarps but if weight don't matter go with the kelty. Haven't tried it personally but I think you could almost close the ends if hung right .

You can close it off. I can post a pic later if you want to see it in storm mode

I have a Noah12. Just be aware that due to the cat cuts on the edges when pitched as a square the ridge line is about 11' rather than 12'.

I have the Kelty 12 and like it. I think I measured 10' 10" at the ridgeline in a-frame mode
