    Wink Loco Libre Ghost Pepper

Recently, I was in the market for a top quilt. A fellow hammock forums member recommended Loco Libre and Shug backed them up. I had never heard of them, but decided to reach out to the owner, George Carr.
George provided the most excellent customer service I've ever received. He provided me with the best, most comfortable product ever created by man, the ghost pepper 20. Made with argon 67 fabric, inside and out, an insulated footbox and 950FP down. My new top quilt is unbelievaby light and warm.
When I received my quilt I opened the cotton loose storage bag and saw a very small orange bag. My first thought was, "Wow, that was awful nice of him to include a small bag for accessories." It took me a moment to realize - holy smokes, that's the compression sack! This little bitty thing that's maybe 2 liters is going to hold my quilt.
I haven't even mentioned that George made it possible for me to have this in time for the upcoming Nebraska Fool's Hang!
    What a swell guy!
    Well done, George. Bravo!
No question, I'm telling all my friends to go for your quilts. Truly top-notch stuff. Your kung fu is most impressive.

I'd be interested to know the weight of your 20* Ghost Pepper as I have one on order. Agree with all you say about the customer service from George.

It weighs less than nothing. Seriously though, I got a weight of 442.3g (15.6oz) for the quilt and a measley 12.8g for the stuff sack. It's SO WARM. You're gonna love yours.

That is amazing. Do you have the 75" length and standard width with 10" taper? That's what I've ordered along with 950 fill and Argon 67 for inner and outer liner. I didn't order the insulated foot box thinking it would add some unnecessary weight and bulk but I'll need to rethink that. I just ordered mine earlier this week so I could make a change. You happy with the insulated foot box as opposed to the other two foot box designs that are offered? A 20* quilt at ~16 oz is really fantastic.

I'm glad you like your quilt. The 950 goose is pretty amazing stuff.

I'm not kidding about the compression sack, either. I seriously thought he made a mistake and made it too small.

I couldn't agree more with everything said about George in this thread. Top notch service and work all the way around.

His new Hotbox TQ footbox design is beyond impressive.

Thanks for the advice on the footbox and for posting this thread about your new Ghost Pepper. I'm asking George if I can update my order to include the insulated footbox option.
