after having these ss for awhile i find them great for one thing, teaching my 9 yr old how to use a suspension system and how to put them away for a lighter version, she did like the ease of them though

I switched out the slap straps on my DoubleNest for a set of whoopies and never looked back. I still think this is the most comfortable hammock I own.

My eno singlenest, 2, 6' whoopie slings, and 2 six foot polyester seatbelt webbing tree staps (2) from strapworks weight about 20 oz. If you tie a toggle onto the tree strap with a marlin spike hitch you don't need any hardware. Arrowhead equipment has whoopie sling if you don't want to make them yourself. Think how light this setup would be with a Speer Hammock, humm...
