Need a trip for Ga area

Was planning on headed to N GA for a Blood Mountain hang with a buddy. Didn't even think about how busy it will be this time of year and we are not looking to hang at shelter or struggle to find a spot. So I think it may be best to change plans. Any suggestions for a Friday, Sat, leave Sun hike? Would like water source nearby. Thanks for any suggestions.
    I'm doing it wrong....

It's 20 minutes north of Chattanooga but... the stone door/ savage gulf area is pretty nice.

It sounds like you're looking for a longer mileage trip, but if you're looking for a more relaxed trip, you should check out Panther Creek Trail in Clarkesville, GA. Only a 7 mile round trip out-and-back, but some of the best wilderness camping in North GA. Check out Panther Creek Falls (the destination and campsite) on Google Images. I think it might exceed your "water source" expectations.

you could get a few more miles out of panther creek if you hike all the way to the end and back. dont expect to have the waterfall to yourself. it tends to get pretty crowded. you could get lucky though.

Take a look at anything in the Cohutta Forest. Jacks River Trail is an excellent multi day hike with plenty of water nearby.
