Wayne National Forest might be your best bet around southern Ohio . Hanging rock ponds ORV area has like 52 ponds with camping almost anywhere . lake Vesuvius is also a great place and maybe AEP recreational lands but I have never been to there. I usually canoe down the Scioto River in the early summer or fall there are some nice spots along its banks.

Don't go near Hammock Gear you will end up spending lots of money . I live like 70 miles away and I have spent a thousand but their stuff is really really nice and warm.Originally Posted by cincihangs
