    Hammocking in the new house

Signed the papers and spent a few nights in the new house. I'm slowly moving in and brought the first truck load up. Set the Hammeck stand up in the den and have no plans on taking it down anytime soon.

Got the fireplace going and just relaxed. No tv or internet yet so relaxing in the hammock with a good book is the high lite of the day

There's a bird feeder beside the window and it was fun watching them come and go from the hammock. Buddy was fixated on the birds coming and going inches from him and would sit for hours watching them.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

That looks nice. That stand looks sturdy, too. If you ever want to create more floor space, there are other great options for hanging the hammock since you own the house. I have some 1 1/2" wire ring anchor points screwed into the the studs around the windows in my ,garage, dining room and my bedroom for those times I want to hang inside. They cost like $5 for a set at home depot and I just used tapcon screws to attach them to the stud. They are very inconspicuous when not in use (I even painted them the same color as my wall.) I'm sure there are a million names for these things but here's a picture...

I used derek hanson's hang calculator to find the right height.

    Enjoy the new house.

I would think you had everything you need, but you didn't mention food. Looks good.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.
