I got a 1.1oz nylon ripstop double layer. My WBBBs are 1.0oz and 1.1oz double layers as well, but not all fabrics are created equal. Stretch makes my back ache, and the 1.1oz ripstop DH used seems to have more than the WB ripstops. At least that is my guess, because I wouldn't know why I get backaches in the DH otherwise. It could be some design feature, but in the end it's a simple gathered end hammock.
If I would order another DreamHammock now, I would probably go for a double layer made from 1.0oz Robic XL or 1.0oz Hexon. I'm still in the progress of making a Robic DL, but the fabric looks and feels very similar to what WB is using. And while I haven't yet used a 1.0oz Hexon DL, I love my 2.4oz Hexon single layer hammock. But fabric choice is very personal. You might feel exactly the opposite. That's why experience helps when ordering with DH.
I've used both. Agree with others that both are amazing choices, but I prefer the WBBB XLC due to the footbox and shelf. Small things but important for me as a gathered end can tend to not give as great a night sleep as my Ridgerunner.

It's a while since I ordered my DH. They used to make even 1.1oz single layer hammocks then. I understand why they stopped doing that, but I didn't know that they had stopped making double layer hammocks from 1.0oz and 1.1oz fabrics, too... There must have been too many careless users and too many ripped hammocks. Shame.
