LineLoc's on all 3 of my Simply Light Designs tarps with Lawson glowire or lightsmith. Super easy to adjust and they've never let me down. I tie a small knot in the pulling end so its easy to adjust in the dark.

I have linelocks on my monster and find I have to put a half hitch after tightening in windy situations. Have a buddy with dutch Flys on the tieouts and I really liked his setup. Huge difference in price though.

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

I prefer plastic rings or triangles over LineLocs because they are more versatile. I can use any guy line I like.

Yeah, I think that's the key here. D-rings give you more flexibility with your choices.

Tried & retried linelocs a number of times, wanted to like them, easy to use but i like the versatility of D rings, plastic or titanium.

Rings. Line locks are nice but like BigE94 said I would be worried about it coming loose. I would end up tying a knot in my guy line anyway. Right now I like to use a trucker's hitch for my tie outs, and that's never let me down.

I just got a Tadpole tarp with linelocs from Wilderness Logics. I was so excited because I have linelocs on a cover your ears.... Tarp tent and I really like them. I ordered Dutch bling and lash it. The ridgeline slips under load and I have to half hitch there. The guylines haven't slipped. I can't decide if I'm going to cut off the linelocs or ditch the wasps. Seems like one or the other.
