Custom-sized Down Pants

These pants were purchased in 2012 from Goosefeet. The pants were only worn a few times. They are made from brown, very light-weight material (I think the material is Momentum 50). The weight of the pants is 7 oz. There is a draw-string waist and elastic at the ankles.

The draw-string waist is 42.5” and the inseam is 35.5"

These pants were purchased for me when I was 6’5” and 180 pounds (my normal pant size is 34” x 34”). They still fit fine (but are probably at the upper limits) at my current weight of 195 pounds. The pants would probably be fine for someone a bit shorter.

There is a tear in the material of one of the legs. There was negligible down loss at the tear. It has been repaired with tenacious tape and there have been no further problems.

The pants have been stored in a very loose stow sack when not in use in order to preserve the loft of the down.

Other than the tear (which has been well repaired), the pants are in excellent to “like new” condition.

Zero washes. Only worn 3 or 4 times (just a couple cool evenings in the Sierras).
