pretty simple/straight forward question. Will the GG ThinLight 1/4" pad fit the BB DL 1.7? I'm not sure if there is a limit to the pad space between layers.

straight forward answer...yup
the layers are (give or take) 60" wide and the space between is the same. I believe that pad is 40" wide...no worries
