This was my chance to try out my Hennessy Expedition, the DIY DD weather skin and that new foam pad.
Temp 19 degrees, No wind, heavy frost

    Set up:
    HH Expedition
Dri Duck DIY skin on bottom DIY Weather Skin
    Dri Duck poncho on top
    HH Hex tarp

    Inside:
my new foam pad and HF Thread pad info
    Standard 15* sleeping bag
2 pairs of socks and a fleece jacket
The thermometer had 19 degrees when I got out of the hammock thismorning.

I didn't use the factory HH SS, the HH foam pad, no SB, no other gear .

This set up worked very very well for me,, not one time did I get any cold spots, and I stayed extremely comfortable all night.

For Ya'll Yanks 19 degrees is no big deal, but it is rare in these parts.

I had frost on both sides of the Hex tarp, and all over the DD poncho on top.
Inside (the sleeping bag) dry and warm!!!!!

    I am tickled.........

    Randy

This is EXACTLY the kind of reports that I am looking for! THANK YOU, keep them coming.
