are there any hangers in the Berlin area?
I'm looking for people to exchange thoughts on DIY projects, retailers, places to hang etc.

Unfortunately, there are not many German hangers active on this one forum, but you could try the German Haengemattenforum. You'll definitely get more answers with regards to German/European gear and DIY sources.

Living in Karlsruhe/Luxemburg myself. If you want to meet up at some point, don't be afraid to contact me. I'm just starting out to do DIY stuff (got a sewing machine, to start with).
Unfortunately, I doubt I'll be visiting Berlin soon. You can try the local hacker-/makerspaces, maybe they can help you.
