Glad the pack is working well for you.
Thanks, G.G. The Mariposa made the walk that much more enjoyable. It's truly a well thought out backpack.

By the way about that paw print you saw. My daughter and I camped across the stream on Bee Branch Saturday night and I woke up to some crazy loud howling. I swear it didn't sound like any coyote or dog I've ever heard.

My father says that it looked like a wolf print, but I think he's pulling my leg. I'm fairly certain it was a large dog. That side of the Sipsey is only a mile or so from Highway 60 or whatever the road is, so it's not unreasonable that a dog could be down there. It's too large for coyote. Whatever it was, I never saw the critter, for which I am grateful.

I use gpsvisualizer.com and usually prefer the USFS topo background.

Rumor has it that timber wolves has been released to help control the hog population? (Rumor)
I'm glad you got to see the cascade fall above little ugly falls most people miss that one.
I hated that you got so close to Feather Hawk falls and missed it, it has a nice bluff shelter for tents. Maybe next time when you head back to get your truck cab. There's also a car waiting on you to pick up on Turkeyfoot creek.

HA! Yes, friends have seen the car.

Did I not go far enough upstream to Feather Hawk? I thought I did. Or do you mean Eagle Falls? Maybe I'm confused (almost undoubtedly).

    Thanks for watching.
