The page is having problems, but I found the graphic elsewhere (very slow site so I'm attaching the photo)
What you cant see (read) is that the tub is NOT solid as in rigid! It has some kind of polymer that makes it somewhat flexible. It still contours to you!

any one here make fiber glass kayaks? if you added reinforcement i'll bet it would work.
