    Took the plunge!

Finally decided to splurge a bit I'm upgrading from my ENO double rest and Guardian bugnet to the WB Blackbird! I requested to have it made mirrored so I can continue to lay with my feet to the left and my head to the right side (Strange lefty here.) I can't wait to give it a try! Still going to be using my ENO profly, as it has done nothing to offend me.

    Congratulations!

I ordered mine two weeks ago, still waiting for the shipped notice. Did you get an updated wait time from Brandon?

Did you get a 1.1 single layer BB? Looks like those have a longer lead time. I'm sure special requests take longer, too.

My XLC should arrive today. Pretty excited. Especially since I lost all my camping stuff a couple of weeks ago, and this will be the first new piece of gear, and my first Warbonnet.

It's a single 1.7 standard. What was your wait time?

Between ordering and shipping, about three days, maybe four because I think there was that thing where it's ready to be picked up, and in the system, but not actually shipped. Between ordering and receiving, hopefully about a week. Six days if it's actually there when I get home. Mine may have moved faster since I put a note in about being unexpectedly hammockless, and being willing to pay expedited shipping if that's what it would take to get me to a planned camping weekend. But really I have no idea if that made any difference. If it's been two weeks without word, and there's a one week lead time, I'd probably check in with them and see.

Looks like you got the VIP treatment!

It's hard to predict the wait time when about and average are in the same sentence.

True, but there's a thread a couple down in this section where two people had their stuff ship out faster than mine. That's why I wonder if might not be worth a follow up e-mail, just to check. Although it could be that particular item, too. The two items mentioned in that thread were the XLC and the Superfly, exactly what I ordered. So it could be that I just ordered what they had plenty of on hand.

I ordered mine a week ago and have not received a shipping notice yet. I assume they're busy this time of year. I hope you get your new hammock soon!
