Another Texas Fall Group Hang is planned!

I find it confusing when requests for participation in events are not deleted when they are out-dated.

No worries Andy. I like that they are not deleted in that it gives us some historical info to refer back to at future dates.

One way to help on the confusion front is to look at the date on each post. That helps me know if the original thread is current or an old one that has resurfaced.

You are right, of course. However, there are lots of ways to flag historical data to set it apart. I'm in the nation's fourth largest city, where apparently there are quite a few hangers. Seems like one trip a year is a little thin. I go monthly if not weekly, and would like some company occasionally to swap war stories, fish, cook, relax, admire the grammers who know how much their spandex weighs, wet and dry, and enjoy the great out of doors.

I have my own 30ac piece of primordial jungle to hang on when I'm in the mood for a primitive hang. Might occasionally invite company.

Agreed there!

This November Hang is our big, planned annual event, (it's annual since we've done it once before), so we give it a lot of play during these hot months but it's not the only time we hit the woods.

There are actually several of us w/in 90 miles of you who get together quite frequently during the cooler months. In fact I can think of at least 8-10 group outings just last year.

My bet is once the heat wave breaks there will be several other outings posted so keep your eyes open or start something.
