I tried to search but couldn't find the answer. I am a side sleeper. I have a MYO hammock. It's just a basic hammock with gathered ends. I have trouble getting comfortable because I am a side sleeper and I feel that when I roll over to my side I am in some kind of weird upright fetal position. It hurts my back. Is there a hammock out there that addresses this problem? Can I do something to fix it?

I side sleep fairly comfortably in a Blackbird.
I've used the HH UltraLight, the Mosquito Expedition, the ENO double and now the Warbonet Traveler. I've slept on my side in all of them without problems. The only question I might have is are you trying to sleep straight along the axis or are you slightly off center, ie: feet to the right and head to the left of the center line? If you are right on the center line with both your feet and head, it won't be as comfortable.
I'm a dedicated side sleeper both at home in my bed and in my hammock. I sleep very comfortably on my side in a Speer laying asymmetrically and in my Warbonnet. It's all about finding the sweet spot. It took me a while to find it in a hammock, but once I did, I never looked back.

In my BB I side sleep most of the time. I always seem to wake up on my left side with my feet in the footbox.

I do a fair amount of side sleeping in my DIY gathered end. Like others said, move around until you find the best angle.
Also, I (& a lot of others) find it really helpful to put some kind of pillow between your knees when on your side.
I use the same pillow beneath my knees when I sleep on my back.

As the others have already said, try and find the sweet spot for what works best for you. And I'll second what slowhike said by putting a pillow between your legs. It really helps my back and I often just use a rolled up fleece jacket or similar. Having one foot directly on top of the other with legs parallel helps in my case. And you can play with the pitch angle somewhat too.

I found that for me, I had to hang with a bit more sag. It seems to help me stay a bit flatter somehow. I also decided that the next diy hammock I make, I'm going to try a little more length and width.
What slowhike and Perkolady said - experiment with changing sag, and use a jacket or stuffsack as a pillow between your knees. Sometimes I put the stuffsack under my waist when I'm on my side as well.
