    What poles are those? I suspect with some of the lighter weight alum poles and nanolites etc. you'll ultimately end up with some bent poles at the current length. Doesn't take much to bend them to be honest, so for instance when you've got your tarp mode set and want to level it out I'd recommend re-locating the downside stakes back a bit.

    Thanks. They are fiberglass poles from a tempus 2 tent i own. The pitch on the tarp is almost exactly what it is on the tent so Im not too worried. Works well and no sigh of stress on anything yet. Hiking out this weekend on a fishing trip so I guess i'll find out. ��
