For the past year or more I have slept in our spare room or couch....snoring and twenty years of marriage = no need to sleep in the same bed, ever.
My kids have taken over the spare room recently and I'm a bit sick of the couch so I figured I'd try sleeping in the basement in my hammock. Thought of it as my own camping adventure every night.
Been two weeks now and I found that around day seven or eight I began to sleep very deeply. Also, I wake in the same position in which I started....that never happens in a bed or on the couch. Keep in mind the hammock is set up in my man cave where it is very dark and quiet....only the sound of my fan with a gentle breeze washing over me. Those things plus the comfort of my rig....wow!
I have always been able to sleep fine in my hammock but this, this is something different. Seems my body and mind have fully accepted/embraced it. For anyone not yet there, give it time. Always scoffed a bit when others said it...now I'm a believer.
