New Fork River WY, just west of the 13000 foot Wind River Mtns, at 6800 feet:
0100 Dec 9 MINUS 33 climbing up to a high so far at 1100 of minus 4.

OK now, that's pretty cold for 9th of Dec! We will see how long it takes for this to be exceeded somewhere this winter! ( EDIT: or has it already been exceeded somewhere else, this winter? Probably in Canada for sure, but what about USA?)

What kind of UQ would this call for!

This pic was taken yesterday morning on my front sidewalk... we added another 3" by the end of the day yesterday! Today, no more snow, but it's about -2° with wind chills of around -25.
I was SO wishing I could have hung out Tuesday night as the blizzy came in! My wife thinks I'm totally off my rocker.
