    Sanborn Canoe Scout Quilt

Just a heads up for folks that may be in the market for an EE Rev 20.

EE makes quilts for Sanborn Canoe Co. They call them the Scout Quilt. It's VERY similar to the Rev 20. Regular length, wide width. 800Fp treated down. Ordered mine last Wednesday and got it on Monday. It's awesome.

They had 2 left after I ordered mine. So, if you want a Rev 20 and can't wait 14-16 weeks.....here ya go.

Jeff - Do you mind providing any details in regards to what you see as the differences between the regular EE quilt? Does it come with pad straps, attachment points, etc.?

    Thanks

It came with pad straps, stuff sack and large storage bag. Im sure it has the attachment points, I can look later to verify if you'd like. I'm certain that it is exactly the same as a Rev 20. The tag attached the storage bag was an EE tag with all the specs. Even says it's a Revelation 20 on the tag. Only difference I can see is that it has a small (2"x2") tag sewn around where my knees are that has the Sanborn logo. It's all 10d fabric. No 20d weather strips.

Basically, I think Sanborn just orders X amount of Revelations in Regular length, Wide width and then sells them under their name. I'm not all that picky about color choices so I didn't mind it only coming in 1 color choice (which is actually very nice). It's a great quilt and I'm happy with it. I haven't done anything but use it for lounging around yet.

I really wanted a Rev 20 for an upcoming trip but didn't have the patience to wait. I just happened to stumble across the Scout quilt online and after contacting both Sanborn and EE I decided to pull the trigger. Couldn't be happier.

If you have any other Q's let me know. I'm not at home right now. I can take a look at it later tonight.
