    Bat Hammock And Fly

I almost ordered a Claytor Bat Hammock and Fly. It seemed like a good way of hanging high off the ground away from the bears. Does anyone on this forum use it when climbing trees or up cliffs? It looks like a bridge hammock which hangs high from overhead branches.. Looks like a good hammock to go camping in the Redwood Forest.

I once brought a hammock chair to a hang out and was surprised tehre wasn't anyplace to hang it. The bat hammock has to be the same. You almost should be able climb the tree to rig it up. I have a hard enough time finding a good bear rope tree. Trying to find a branch that will support me really seams tough. I thought teh bat hammock woudl be better suited for rock climbers.
