Not sure if anyone else has seen this yes, but Clark has a new two-person hammock to add to the line with the Vertex Hammock, the Double-V. I just picked it up, as I had been contemplating getting a Vertex Hammock for two-person outings, but just couldn't justify the price. At $189, I was very excited to see the Double-V! It's about 2 lbs 14 ozs on my scale, but that's including the three super bulky and heavy ropes they have attached to the hammock stock. The foot end is 12 ft long and the two head end ropes are 18 ft long. The 12 ft rope weighs 2.8 oz on my scale. (I only measured the length and weight of one of them. I assume they're all the same.) It also has 4 large pockets on the shelf between the beds, 1 large pocket on the underside of each bed, one hand loop at the head end of each bed, and an attached stuff sack that can very easily be removed. It also has a piece of webbing connecting the attachment points coming out of each head end, presumably to keep the pitch angle consistent.
This is my first Clark hammock, and the quality and construction are certainly very nice. As a self-identified gram weenie and ultralight enthusiast, the fabric is a lot thicker/heavier than I'm used to with hammocks, but it adds some nice peace of mind for having two people inside! Anyways, just wanted to put this out there, and if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.
Cheers!
