OH MAN ... glad no one was hurt. A 44 year old guy here in central NC (Denton) was killed moments after leaving home to go hunting last night when a 8" pine dropped on the cab of his pickup as he drove down the road. Crushed the cab flat. Killed instantly. All those high winds after the flooding rain Tuesday night.
Ya'll be safe out there ... the trees they be falling all over the place this week!

You can tell a dedicated hammock hanger when he laments the loss of a hammock hangin' tree with no regard for his house the tree fell upon!

Awwww, man. We had some nasty winds yesterday, didn't we. Power out all over the place. Trees and large branches down. Things were blowing off our building roof at work. Sorry it took your tree. Like others said, hope your house is not badly damaged.
PS: Time to cement in a pole. I hang from our deck and a clothes line pole. It works.
