How to obtain a Maccat tarp?

Howdy everyone.getting ready to take the plunge
and start using a hammock!I am going with a Tom Claytor
Expedition model and would like to obtain one of Brian's tarps.
Here is the problem; I live in Upstate,NY and he can't ship within
New York State because of tax reasons and I don't have anyone
out of state to have it shipped to.Any suggestions?Or
is there anything else comparable on the market I should consider?
I don't have the skill, time, or resources to sew my own tarp,so
that is not a viable solution right now.Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks for any and all help with this matter.

    Welcome to the forum.

    Edit:
I just read you whole post.

If you want you can have it shipped to me and then I can re-ship it back out to you.

    See my edit above.

You have Brian ship the tarp to me in Ky and when I get it I can send it back to you in NY.

Is Brian located in NY state? Any chance of you just picking one up from him?

His site says nothing about picking an item up only shipping is a problem. He may not even allow you to pick up his tarps. I don't know.

    From the OES site:
Also, due to sales tax, I cannot ship to any address in the State of New York. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause anyone. I will gladly ship to a friend or relative out of New York for your convenience.

Picking up in person is the same as going to the store and buying. That means he would have to collect sales tax.

Check the ridgeline length on the MacCat and the Claytor. The Claytor is a long hammock.
