So you only use whoopies as guy lines? In that case you can always pull the stakes if you are not able to loosen them. I don't see a way to get around that when using whoopies for the ridgeline. I never tried to use whoopies on my tarp, but I managed to hang my hammock way too tight and wasn't able to loosen them. I had to open the biner on the tree hugger to avoid having to cut a line.

Maybe I should have been more clear.
Yes I'm using the whoopies only on the guy lines. 4 corners of the tarp. The doors also. I have a different idea I'd like to try for them.
Again the bury is only 1" long which makes loosing them, no problem.

While I was thinking about the bulk and weight that some are concerned of with the whoopies,..... I might have an idea that I could make my 8' guy lines out of maybe 9' / 10' of Zing It....
Camping in 2 weeks. I may have to make a set and see if it works.
