Thanks for having myself, my wife, and the couple I brought along! You guys did a great job and it was pretty cool to meet the handful I talked to! (Sorry, get a little social anxiety sometimes! Next hang maybe it won't rear it's head so much!)

Carol and I extend thanks to everyone for making this a great event. Of course Tonya's and Tony's efforts in the kitchen were huge! I came into a new camping abode which rocks! The rain waited on us to break camp. Carol made jewelry items in anticipation of big sales this Saturday. Shade was plentiful and necessary, humidity was high and so was the temperature.
On the way home we talked long and affectionately about the really wonderful way we were treated, and we were not singled out, everyone was great. The best part of hangs is visiting and sharing, and this event really shined at this. We look forward to seeing everyone again.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

Wow, what a great hang! LoveDr & I had a great time reconnecting with many of you, and meeting plenty of new folks. Huge thanks to Hotlips and Kingsford for well... everything! A huge thank you to everyone who was so generous with food, drinks, fuel, and supplies. It seemed like every time I turned around people were pitching in to help cook, clean, unload, load, etc. Bit thanks to Tacoma for the firewood, and grannypat & helpers for doing their due-diligence with the fire. The atmosphere was very family friendly, and it was very enjoyable to see all the kids having such a good time. The rain was very light Sunday AM but packing up was pleasant, and the weather was great the rest of the time! What a great memorial day weekend!

Huge thanks have to go to Kyle from ripstopbytheroll for all the donations of material, stickers, and carabiners. This was completely unexpected, and very generous. I'll be proudly sporting RSBTR stickers on all of my water bottles.

I hope we can all pitch in next year to make the smoke butt another success, and let kingsford and hotlips enjoy attending vs. hosting

Sounds like my daughter and I missed a great time, we got really jammed up with non-hammocking life which is a shame. We'll be at the next one.

Never fear FatedStranger! Just come up to a small group and introduce yourself. Hammockers tend to be laid back and welcoming. We'd love to get to know y'all at upcoming events.

I loved talking with you The Love Doctor about books and how you got your trail name. That is a good story. Hope to hang with you two again.
