Help with DIY Dbl,zipper,bottom entry

I'm lining up a Christmas break project and need some advice. What would be the proper sewing, err, thread injector sequence for a double layer, zipper netted, bottom entry hammock? I tried adding some netting once before to a diy and wasn't very please with the outcome.

Are you building a whole hammock or just adding netting?

I sew netting like this:
1) lots of pins or hem clips
2) When feeding, pull on the nylon, NOT the netting
2) double row stitching, especially for zippers

For a whole hammock, I have no idea. But I would proly start by hemming the first sheet and sewing the netting to it all at once (inside out of course). Then sew the second sheet to the first in the places you need it. Turn it right side out and gather/whip the ends. If your careful you could proly mark the places where you only wanted to sew the first sheet to the second sheet, then pull the second sheet out of the way when sewing in an area that needs to be left open. This way you could sew all three pieces together at once.

Yep, wanting to do the whole hammock. The sequence is just messing with my head.

Hmmm... double layer bottom entry sounds interesting. How do you plan to enter through the double layer? (or what is the double layer for?)

The slit will be like normal, except it will be two layers thick. I'm envisioning an insert pad/insulation that would also be split to fit into each side of the entry.
