    Extreme Hammocking

I started a thread about this site on WB. If you have never seen it you should go take a look. Funny stuff.

    Extreme Hammock Website

I got an email that the website has been updated. They now have an offical sponsor, Trek Lightweight Hammocks. The hammocks look nice. Kinda like a Speer design.

BTW, I had problems viewing the site with Firefox. I had to use IE.

    EDIT:
Be sure to check out the picture of the guy using the hammock in the bed of his truck. He has made a stand that mounts in his trailer hitch. The other end secures to the front of the bed. Neat idea and setup.

That's a pretty cool website. When I was a kid we had a regular rope hammock in the front yard and would try to push each other into a loop. Never got all the way around...we'd just get to the top and fall out. And never thought to move the cinder block sitting next to the hammock where my dad set his drinks...it's a wonder I still have my teeth.

I hung my hammock in my Jeep...just enough room to sleep in it.

Bump - y'all remember this? It's been posted a couple times since then, but it's still entertaining to watch!

Here's what they have to say about Hammock Forums:

Probably the best place online for hammock discussion. These people are very serious about their relaxing – Great tips from fellow hammock heads.
Cool site. I loved the description of why they do this. Funny guys.

Just a quick note - Hammock Forums does not endorse doing anything stupid, like hanging in front of a moving train or from under a bridge! If you're gonna ignore common sense, do it for your own excitement and at your own peril!

Just in case anyone wants to know, most of the pics were taken in Toronto. I recognize most of the places, some of them I don't recognize, but seeing as it's the same guy in most of them, they're all probably taken in Toronto. Don't know the guy, but seems like he's having fun!
