I had some same issue (different hammock) I couldn't get it just right and stay there as I move quite a bit. I ended up with some additional quilt hangers on hammock and suspend it in a fashion that would be similar to triangle thingies from ahe. No more problems at least not in trial run. Even with my movement.

Thank you Shrug. I've watched the videos and made some notes. Headed for Fish Lake, UT in two weeks and I'll see how it goes. I keep trying each trip but always wake up with a cold shoulder or feet. The best night I've had so far was switching to my Clark 250 with the z-liner. Just attach with the full length Velcro and no adjustments required.

You are always so helpful and we all appreciate what you do for the hammock community.

I would love to see a photo. I'm 5'9" and in my WBBB the UQ completely covers my foot and beyond. And at the head end, it's wrapping up so high that it almost blocks my view. I feel like I accidentally got a wide version!

Thank you Shug, I have watched all of those but I think after watching them again I may have some new ideas =)

I am wondering if the problem is with my primary suspension. How do you adjust or tight that thicker shock cord for the primary? does it just click into the same S biner that the secondary suspension is attached to? or should I just wrap it around the end of my whipping?

Thank you all again, this has been very helpful.

This weekend I'll be able to go set it up and take a few pics to see if I can accurately portray the issue. A video would better show it but I think I can do a few pictures to give an idea.

It always helps to have an experienced hanger look at how your quilt is hung, and how you''re laying. I had "phantom" coldness - kept feeling cold spots that actually weren't there. It was all in my head - once I had an experienced hanger check out my rig I haven't been cold since. I definitely don't have any problem with the UQ popping off my feet or shoulder. Once I get in my hammock I usually don't move.

I am not sure why you would need a long Incubator - I'm also 5'11" and use a standard. I don't personally think switching to a 3/4 UQ will make any difference. I have both 3/4 UQs and an Incubator and haven't noticed any difference in their ability to stay put. It may be that you're a tosser and turner, and quilt hooks or triangle thingies might help keep the UQ in place.

Also, are you sure you have the primary and secondary suspension set up properly? A lot of people seem to struggle with that.

If I could guess the ends are cynched too tight. I have same set up and clip on and go. Zero issues.

Sorry for the late reply, the garage is the only place i can test hang and so it needed to be cleaned first. But I am pretty sure the problem is solved. I'm not sure how i didn't notice before, but the main suspension was only clicked into one of the S-biners. The UQ was essentially being held in place by the secondary suspension. Thank you everyone for all of your help, I slept one night in the garage, but will be able to test more completely on my upcoming bp trips. =)

I have a DD Underblanket (2 metre) and had a few problems until I started using a ridgeline and then I simply hung the UQ elastic cords from the ridgeline. I used plastic clothes pins to limit where the cords attached and so could force a "diagonal lay" for the underquilt as well as where it rides in relation to my body length.
