So we have one of those AsSeenOnTV garden hoses that expands with water pressure. It never really worked right at our house for some reason. Maybe too little water pressure. Anyways, my wife took it to a Girl Scout car wash and it got a hole in it right near the nozzle. So being the environmentally sound Christian guy that I am, I wanted to recycle what I could. So I cut off the metal and realized the inside is a sort of industrial surgical tubing and once I tied that to our railing outside, I was able to slide the very durable fabric sheathing off of it. So now I am left with about 75' of very tough fabric tubing and maybe half that of heavy duty surgical tubing. I'm thinking this stuff might have to go in the DIY category for some hammock accessory builds!!! The surgical tubing could tension a tarp or a hammock, the fabric tubing could be used for something. Any thoughts?
