Trying to let the DIY bug bite again

I have been slammed with a new job, actually left corp America and bought a marine aquatics and aquarium maintenance business, and let my DIY bug slip. I just went on a trip on the Art Loeb trail and was annoyed by my not finishing some projects. So, tonight I went through my kit of DIY tidbits and man the ideas started flowing. Ran up on my tackle box full of zipper pulls, clips, strapping, cordage, started and never finish projects, and the list goes on.

    Project list.

    Pack cover
    New hammock with zipper net
    Cuben tarp
Trim the straps on the ol Flash 45
    Synthetic UQ

Have the materials for the UQ in a stack on the kitchen table and just ordered the materials for the hammock and cover...

    Let's get this party started!

Having owned some of your past work...get busy. It's vendor quality output.
I just sold the tarp I bought from you a couple years ago and got a cuben.

    LOL! Hey, a familiar face.

I hope it served you well. I'm excited about working with Cuban, although worried about a misfit . Going to work out the rust on some of these other projects.

Ok, so I feel like I have been out of the game for 10 years!

Just got an order in from Ripstop by the Roll of 1.0 oz HyperD and and silpoly PU4000. All I can say is WOW! This HyperD feels like silk, i'm going to sleep snug in my soon to be new hammock. The silpoly. . . . Where were you when I was making tarp after tarp. It is making me rethink going to cuben, not really but man it is nice.

Also ran across my old bits and pieces tackle box and JACKPOT! like 10' of zipper, throw lines, buckles, man I was a hoarder lol.

The silpoly makes a nice tarp, but there's no comparison to the cuben.
Looking forward to seeing what you've made.
