Not at all...y'all would be welcome.

Two problems: it's a long drive, especially for those that don't live in DFW, and there are no "facilities."

That said, I'd love to host a hang. Gonna be out there Thursday night, as a matter of fact.

The reason I suggested the Ouachitas is they are quite a bit closer for most of the Texans.

If you guys are doing any TX hangs after the holidays I might be interested in making the long drive down from MN! I haven't been down your way really. Flew to Houston a couple years ago for work related stuff but didn't get to get out and see anything. I have quite a bit of vacation time stocked up and could use a week off after the holidays. Your winter weather is more like our fall weather up here. Could probably use a break from the snow at some point this winter.

Mike I'll do a post christmas hang - their needs to be a correlation between the distance of the drive and the length of the hang.

I'm not sure what that means but I'll let you know the where and when and hope you can make it.

My hope is to do 2 to 3 nights out and I plan to keep the drive within Texas or at least it's contiguous states.

    Counselor,

Per our discussion earlier...I'll bet a dime to a dollar that you'll beat me there so you'll be the official spot-picker-outer for this trip.
Send me a text message when you get settled in so I'll know where to go when I arrive and check in.

ETA: Randy said Stubblefield is open again if you'd rather go there. Just a thought. I don't care one way or the other. I'll go anywhere.

I'll be with you in spirit as I hang in the trees of Camp Allen, about 42 miles to the south west, if you are at Stubblefield or 45 miles north if you make it to SFA SP.

Either way, it looks to be a great weekend.
