Relative Noob. I've got a pair of Whoopie slings that I've used about 10 nights. I've noticed where the bury starts some of the individual strands are "showing". None are cut, none are torn, just the separation of the bundle. What causes that as none are torn or frayed? Is that normal or is that a sign to toss it in the ole recycle for other use bin? TNX.

Without seeing a picture, I'm going to guess what you're seeing is normal. Most whoopie users have questioned this at one time or another.

Yes it's normal, keep on hanging. I'm guessing that some of that separation is from pulling amsteel at a 90 degree angle to bury exit rather than in line with bury. Again I'm guessing!

Amsteel is very strong. Only wear I notice is where hardware attaches.
