Why do you say the pocket in the Exped/Jungle is useless?

Because if you put something in it (ie - flashlight), it will end up hitting you in the face all night long. If you put the pocket at the foot end, you will have an annoying night with whatever is in the pocket banging on your feet, or legs all night.

Are you talking about the pockets in the mesh? Only the exped has those....not the mosquito.

Ya I'd say my pad pocket is far from useless. It keeps my pads right where they need to be once I get them setup. Also I it gives me a slick surface to wrestle into my bag if I need to instead of trying to do it on top of a sticky ccf pad.

I was not referring to the double-bottom. I love the double-bottom. I was referring to the useless mesh pocket.

Yes, the mesh pockets. The Jungle hammock has them as well as the exped. I don't like them in my Jungle hammock. My Mosquito does not have them.

I sewed a couple of loops to the outside of my jungle hammock so I can hang a stuff sack with junk in it. This works great, and is 100x better than the lame mesh pockets.
