Hi,

I just want to officially introduce myself to the forum, I have posted a few findings as I am learning about hammocks. Currently I have two Eno Travelers that I have setup on my backyard with 2inch webbing.

Finally I decided to give it a try to the whole enchilada so I ordered material to make my own hammock, bugnet and tarp.

LASt weekend I was really close to getting a Hennessy hammock during the REI garage sale, unfortunatley my 3 years old had to make a trip to the bathroom and by the time we came out the hammocks were gone.

I will try to post and document my experiences as I enjoy hanging between the trees

Welcome! You might end up thanking your kid. DIY can be really rewarding. It's even better if you can DIFSIL ("Do It Future Son In Law"!). What materials did you order for your hammock and tarp?
