Goodie, goodie, another lookie. I will save this for a little bit later watch-in-my-personal time.
Thanks for making another bit of fun to peruse, King Red of the North.

Nice video Shug. I been using the strap trick for a while now but never thought of just tying on a piece of shoe lace and leaving it there.

I may have been on the forum too long... and I may have too much braided line to play with....
My first thought was that shoelaces are hollow-core, and that you can of course just poke a hole in the side and feed one end down through the other for a knotless hitch pulled up snug on the suspension

Sock.. That there is funny no matter who says it! Great idea.

Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

Good reminders Shug.
I'll also add...if you are desperate and in the field, you may consider the shoe laces from your shoes.
Great video Shug..
Waiting on one of your T's :-)
Shug, I follow all your posts and they are great! A sock rolled up tight can be used as a toggle--and if enough weight is put on it--it will squeeze the stink right out.

Thanks for another good one. It's always nice to have so many tutorials in one spot and I like it right there, on your Youtube page. It's easy to point noobies or interested minds to your page for the tutorials.
I like to use my remaining suspension line to half-hitch near the hammock. I like how it keeps the line contained, off the ground and makes a nice water break.

First time I've heard that. The Red King Of The North sounds appropriate. It's like a Game Of Thrones title. Small beginnings in a tiny village in the south, the land of North Carolina. Through trials, tribulations, and the need for...(insert need to move up there) led our young hero to take residence in The North...Minnesota. A land forgotten by the heat of the sun... I could go on, so epic.
I don't see it, but it sounds like a way I won't lose another drip string. Do you have any, or can you get some pictures of this?
Maturity makes the mind grow older.
Stubby, can this be like the loop on some soft shackles? Kinda like the first step in a locked brummel without the second step. I'm guessing---
