I'm surprised no one has mentioned the gas shortage.
Gas stations have been warned about price gouging her in NC so the biggest concern might be that some stations may be out of gas at times.
Sounds like it might be somewhat worse in the NC mountain counties but Hickery says what he's seeing in VA looks normal.
I'll just top of the gas tank at some of the latest opportunities & I should be fine to get back to the flat lands on Mon.

Very interesting on the gas situation since the Plantation Pipeline owned by Kinder-Morgan runs parallel to the Colonial Pipeline all the way to Richmond. And there are millions of barrels of storage facilities all along both pipes. Think they are all empty??? Anything to gouge the customers.

Raleigh is very hit and miss at the moment with gas. Winston-Salem didn't seem too bad when we were there yesterday. It will definitely be a factor with planning for us at least
