If it's crowded, will we just hang near group campsite or hike up trails--and camp along a trail? Hotlips, are y'all gonna bring hammock stands? Brenda is waiting on Tato hammock stand.
Stands can be a great help if hang is crowded and you arrive after most others.

We have plenty of room at the group site. We just head down the hill behind the site and sort of behind the camp store. Unless we exceed 50 folks, we should be fine. Not sure which trails are close enough for using near the campground. You would be headed out toward the AT and that is a hike for sure.

I brought my hammock stand last year but it was not needed. As Rockdawg said, there is PLENTY of room down the hill.

Tammy and I will have one stand with us. We used it last year but we really did not have to. It was mainly so that we could combine tarps.

Looks like we're up to about 43 or 44 people on the sign up sheet now!
That always changes a little, one way or another but looks like we should have quite a crew!!!

I am so looking forward to this. I have already begun organizing my gear. I bought some new things for my small camp kitchen and now I have to figure out a good recipe to make for the group meal.
