    Never used a Hammock

I am bran new to the idea of using a hammock for camping. My wife is the one who brought up the idea of hammock camping. Being from lower middle Tennessee there is hundreds of waterfalls and creeks to explore. I have recently became disabled due to heart conditions so I have some time on my hands. Ive been a DIYer for years so I decided to start this adventure with making our hammocks. I have always been a ground sleeper so this is all new to me and my wife. I look forward to this adventure.

I was a ground / tent camper for years. It took a few trips and alot of trial and error as a DIY hammok hanger but I have not looked back. This forum is the place you need to be. There is a ton of opinion, alot of fact, and great ideas floating around in here. Welcome to the club!

Welcome to the group. Being a DIYer and a hammock camper go together like PB&J. You will find tons of things to make and try in the hammock world.
