    I found some marine grade shock cord on Ebay that has very nice characteristics.

    thanks for all the advice everyone. So many good ideas here is what i decided:

    One figure 9
    one line lock
    one whoopie sling
    one ucr
    one thereband self tensioning line
    one shock cord self tensioning line
    for the 6 ties outs.......

    Actually I made 6 UCR's from the dynaglide group buy each 5-9 feet or so, and plan to add some shock cord or theraband to these tie outs.
    I bought the figure 9's for the ridgleline tie outs although I think I am going to make one more large UCR from the dynaglide 30 feet or so which I plan to attach with the slightly larger carabiner 9's
