Yes but there is the potential for submerged logs so you would have to make that call. Doesn't the drive lift out and you can use it as a paddle yak?

What do you mean by "Early 2017"? Don't forget about HangCon 2017 is in mid January. A paddle-n-hang would be very nice to have.

Feb or March it really depends on water level or willingness to paddle.

I did a trip like this on the Shenandoah river in VA. It was amazing. I've been searching for something like that here in GA. I'm definitely interested.
