It's in the mail as we speak Opie!

I have to say, while I do like my gray color tarps, it's a real pleasure to build them with such bright colors. Special orders are a lot of fun!

Let's see some pics when it arrives.

I hope to get my custom in the next week or so. No loud colors, but I had scott add pull-outs to the winter dream v2. Let's see some pictures of that loud color!

Scott, what special colors are available and how much do they add to the cost?

I've found out that the small gray asym tarp I got from you does not provide shade from the sun/heat. We're still in the 80s in Miami!!

I'd like something in a cool teal - don't like the bright blue.

Sandy - I don't want to hear about no 80's! It was 15 below 0 here with the wind chill today.

The Fair Weather Friend Asym tarp is really ideal as a lighter weight replacement for the stock Hennessy tarp. I'm sorry it's not providing the shade you're looking for. You may try either widening the pitch and angling it against the sun's direction. Even then, it is a minimalist tarp and is only an inch or two larger than the HH.

I am able to do some special order colors. The cost is usually between $10-25.00 over the stock price. It depends on availability and cost of material. It also adds about a week to the finish time as I have to wait for material to arrive (though right now, that wouldn't matter since I've gotten so many orders over the past couple weeks that finish times are 4+ weeks out... ick!)

Teal, huh? I'll look into it.

Thanks Opie. I only did that on your stuff sack so that it would match the colors of your tarp (aesthetic appeal). It's 70d (1.9) but with a pretty rugged coating, both waterproof and fire-retardant - almost rubbery compared to other coatings - it gives a firm feel to the drawstring pull. I didn't use the normal tie-out reinforcements on your tarp because the green looked horrible with that color.
